We are looking to expand our team across India for various positions in the AV business across verticals. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy (for the vertical). For Goa, we are in partnership with Raylogic (www.raylogic.in) to promote home automation products for the Goa region.
Business Development Manager – 1 (Pune), 1 (Chennai), 1 (NCR)
Responsibilities
- Identify partnership opportunities in the core AV, software-driven AV, AMC, and small project sales
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand
- Maintain existing business
- Think critically when planning to assure project success
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (hospitality and showroom experience is a plus)
- 3 – 4 years prior industry-related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented on sales numbers
Ideal Background
- Candidates selling AV, IT, IoT, BMS, ELV, etc services to Enterprises will be preferred
- Candidates having a drive for sales in CRE (Corporate Real Estate) sales will be preferred, but it is not mandatory
- Excellent at interpersonal and sales skills
- Understanding of sales cycles
- Knowledge of technology is important and will be tested
- Go-getter, target-oriented, and wanting to win
- Quick at grasping and relaying technology to clients
